  • The first week is going to be gnarly.

Here’s a list of thoughts that will probably cross your mind:

OMG these are way too dark and way too thick

    What have I done???

Why are they staring back at me?

I can’t go out like this.. I look freakin’ insane.

The good news is the intensified color and slight redness are part of the initial stages of healing and will only be from days 2-5.

Don’t worry, don’t freak out... just be patient.

This is the initial shock phase and we ask that you just simply trust the process.

After 7 days, the brows will fade about 20% and shrink about 10% to a much more natural look.

The sensation can be comparable to that of a slight burn and minimal peeling or flaking may take place.

Refrain from picking at your brows as you may run the risk of removing pigment in the process.

Healing will vary with skin type but you may experience color fading and loss of hair strokes. This is completely normal. At your refinement session we will assess your healing and fill in any missing strokes as well as give them a color boost. We can then recommend the best follow up timeline for future appointments.

    FOR ALL COSMETIC TATTOOS

It is strongly recommended that you do not use any of the following on your tattoo: Benzoyl Peroxide, Hydrogen Peroxide, Glycolic Acid, apple cider vinegar, Vitamin E and C, and Retinol. These products can lighten or fade your tattoo faster.

We also recommend wearing sunscreen as the UV rays will deteriorate the pigment and lighten or fade the tattoo faster as well. Salt water and chlorine can also deteriorate the pigment faster- rinse with water after contact.

If you are having any laser or facial treatments please inform your technician that you have a cosmetic tattoo.

Touch-ups are necessary to maintain the longevity and density of your tattoo.

Don’t pick off the scabs. Let the scabs fall off naturally. Picking can cause scarring, loss of pigment, or an infection

    AFTER SCABBING PHASE

Once the scabs have completely fallen off, you may apply makeup over the area and return back to your normal routine

The complete healing process takes 6 weeks. At 6 weeks the true and final color of the tattoo will show

    FOR THE NEXT 4 WEEKS

No facials, Botox or filler (in the eye area) chemical peels or microdermabrasions

No major sun exposure or tanning

  • Swelling and redness is normal for the first few days. There also may be a slight stinging sensation. This is also normal.

The color will fade approximately 30-50%.

To achieve the perfect eyeliner, we need to see how your skin accepts the initial application and we will perfect the shape and color at your refinement appointment.
